My name is Ji Huang. I’m a Senior Bioinformatician at Insilicom LLC, where I build LLM-powered pipelines for large-scale genomic data harmonization and biomedical text mining. Before that, I was a Postdoc at Dr. Gloria Coruzzi’s lab at New York University. I also taught bioinformatics as Adjunct Faculty at NYU Tandon. I did my PhD in Dr. Karen McGinnis’s lab at Florida State University.
My background spans genomics, machine learning, and applied AI. At Insilicom, I design multi-LLM orchestration systems and evaluation frameworks for harmonizing metadata across 1M+ human samples. I also build NER and relation extraction pipelines for 40,000+ PubMed abstracts. In my academic research, I developed computational methods to uncover gene regulatory networks and cross-species conserved regulators of nitrogen use efficiency in plants.
